Taylor and Aaron go to Hong Kong

The gloomy weather since we've arrived has forced us to spend most of our time eating and shopping. Today we took a crazy bus ride over a mountain to a little sandy beach town called Stanley, where there was a market much like the Walden Super Flea, but everything was cooler, and Chinese. It was big enough that we spent a good five hours there, though we didn't get any pictures whatsoever of the actual market. There were a couple temples in the surrounding area with incense burning, but you are not allowed to take pictures inside them.

Aside from souvenir markets such as these, other great places to pick up gifts include department stores (I learned this one from Bryan's mom) and toy stores. Two of my favorite kids in the world are my best friend Stacey's, Taylor and Aaron. Not only do these kids rock harder than any other kids I know (it's true - they even have a little guitar and drums); but they also happen to be two of the cutest kids in the whole world. Fisher Price thinks so as well, and has featured them on many of their toy boxes. Today when we were in Toys'R'Us, we learned that Hong Kongers can't get enough of Taylor and Aaron.

Here's me with Bubba (the one with the mischievous smile reading the book):
